In a recent notice, the Central Board of Secondary Education has announced that examinations for the class 10 Mathematics paper and class 12 Economics paper will re-conducted. The decision comes following reports of the respective question papers being leaked.

It is also worth noting here that the Mathematics examination for class 10 which was conducted on Wednesday reported as too easy with questions coming directly out of NCERT syllabus. Also the CBSE had earlier denied the rumours surrounding the leak asking parents and students not to fret.

11.86 lakh students of class 12 and 16.38 lakh students of class 10 attended the board examinations this year. It is expected that CBSE will announce the dates for re-examination shortly.
