Actress Catherine Tresa who has been actin predominantly in Malayalam and Telugu films made her debut in Tamil playing the love interest of Karthi in Madras` directed by Ranjtih. The commercially successful and award winning film gave a fantastic opening for the lass in Kollywood.

Now Catherine has been handpicked to work with another leading hero and a national award winning director. Sources say that she has been zeroed in to play the lead heroine opposite Vishal in the film to be directed by Pandiraj. However, Catherine is yet to sign on dotted lines.

The film, which is as yet untitled is expected to go on floors in first week of July.

Meanwhile, Catherine has just finished working on Kanithan` with Atharvaa and this was the first Tamil film she started working on. Now she is shuttling between the sets of Selvaraghavan directed Kaan` where she plays the love interest of Silambarasan and Veera Dheera Sooran` wtih Vishnu Vishal.

With these promising projects in her kitty, Catherine Tresa can be expected to be the next big thing in Kollywood soon.
