After successfully testing waters in cinema and politics, Vijayakanth is now getting ready to create waves in television industry. The actor-politician has detailed plans for his 'Captain TV', which will be on air very soon.

Reliable sources said IndiaGlitz that the Captain's brother-in-law L K Sudeesh is at the helm of affairs of the channel and some of the best talents in the industry have been roped in to take care of the programmes.

"Vijayakanth has informed us that Captain TV should occupy a position among the top three television channels in Tamil within a year of its launch. We are working towards that," they said.

Stating that programmes would be presented in a way to make the viewers glue to the channel, sources added Captain TV would give a relief to audience from run-of-the-mill kind of programmes.
