Caste angle in 'Kaala' defamation suit

A journalist named Jawahar Nadar has filed a defamation suit against 'Kaala'. The allegation of the Mumbai-based journo is that the yet-to-be-released film defames his late father Thiraviam Nadar, an icon among Tamil Dharavis in Mumbai, as well as the Nadar community to which he belongs.
On what basis is Jawahar saying that 'Kaala' has defamatory content? He hasn't watched the film yet. But his allegations in the suit that demands Rs. 101 crores from the producers of the film are far-fetched.
As per the petitioner's lawyer, Superstar Rajinikanth has established a political outfit (in real life) in order to curtail the rights of native Dravidians. The suit further states that the progressive Nadars are being oppressed by those who have allegiance to the actor-politician.
Reportedly, the legal notice has also been referred to the National OBC Commission for allegedly hurting OBC icons.
