In the world of web shows full of dark, gritty and crime related content, Sony LIV's 'Gullak' seems like a breath of fresh air. This light hearted slice of life show follows the day to day adventures of a middle class family in a suburban north Indian town and its third season was released couple days back.
In a recent media interaction, cast of 'Gullak' opened up about what is it like to work on this show. According to a report in Pinkvilla, Gitanjali Kulkarni, who plays a housewife in the show, said, “We rehearse a lot before going on the floor. It involves the hard work of a lot of people including the creators for almost over a year.”
Actor Vaibhav Raj Gupta plays the elder son Anu Mishra in the show and he says, "The relationship that you see on-screen between the Mishras is built over workshops. All of us meet and discuss the script with the director, writer and the entire crew. There have been times when we had discussions over a scene for more than one and a half hours."
With the release of its latest season, 'Gullak' has found a special place in the heart of audience which is something that that the cast and crew didn't anticipate while working on first season of the show. Season 3 of 'Gullak' is now streaming on Sony LIV.
