Casey Affleck took his baby steps in acting when sharing room with his brother Ben Affleck and Matt Damon both of whom won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay for Good Will Hunting` in which he also had a minor role. Later on he went on to do many films, but caught the attention of critics and moviegoers in the Academy Award nominated supporting role in "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford". He also had a recurring role in the popular Ocean`s Eleven` trilogy.

Casey Affleck was not the first choice for his Best Actor Academy Award winning role Lee Chandler in Manchester By the Sea` as Matt Damon the producer mulled for a long time to star and then passed it on to him. Ironically Casey had earlier predicted that Hilary Clinton would become the President of America and that he would never win an Oscar in his lifetime.
