Cases filed against Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, 36 other celebs

A police case has been registered against several Bollywood celebrities, some of whom are big names. Bollywood superstars Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, and Ajay Devgn are among the ones mentioned in an FIR. Star actress Rakul Preet Singh's name is also mentioned.
Reason? They allegedly revealed the name of a rape victim from Hyderabad in 2019 on various social media platforms. As per the law, a rape victim's name shouldn't be revealed.
After horrific rape and murder incident in Hyderabad, there was a hue and cry across the country. Several celebrities, while sharing their angst on social media over the situation, revealed the identity of the girl. A Delhi-based lawyer, named Gaurav Gulati, has now filed a case against the celebrities under section 228 of the IPC in Sabzi Mandi Police Station.
Besides Bollywood names such as Anupam Kher and actor-producer Farhan Akhtar, a few Telugu actors' names have been mentioned as well.
Ravi Teja, Allu Sirish, and Charmme Kaur, have been alleged to have not respected the privacy of the victim.
