Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma, wife of cricketer Virat Kohli and the star who has acted in numerous hit movies in Hindi, has also produced several movies like NH10, Pari etc and had recently produced the web series Pataal Lok starring Jaideep Ahlawat.

As Paatal Lok is receiving rave reviews from all quarters, cases are also being filed against the actress. Recently a legal notice was issued to Anushka for hurting sentiments of the Gorkha community in a scene and now BJP MLA Nandkishore Gurjar, has filed a complaint against Anushka for using his photo without permission ad has demanded a case to be filed under National Security Act for inciting communal issues.

Nandkishore, the MLA from Uttar Pradesh's Loni mentioned that Paatal Lok presents Hindu groups in a negative manner, and his photo is used in a scene along with a negative character in the show. The original picture has BJP leaders like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Nandkishore Gurjar has claimed that the series tries to damage the image of Bhartiya Janata Party and has also demanded the Amazon Prime Video series Paatal Lok to be banned.
