This is a right pick for a remake. Our society is spoiling day by day and right injection from the mass media like cinema is utmost important. Showcasing innocence, poverty, luxury, corruption, youths crossing limits with latest technology the film is real eye opener. The system in which we are living today exposed and paying penalty out of the court is a strong indication of people in society going fed up. The film `Case No.18/9' is splendid in the second half and first half is a laborious watch. It is the regular tragedy of the youngster we have seen in innumerable films. In the second half all the characters connect make it a resounding watch. Utter poverty in the life of Madheva (Niranjan) makes him to work as a slave in a sweet manufacturing factory in Pune. He is very innocent. The owner of the sweet manufacturing factory makes a costly mistake when parents of Madheva are dead. Madheva is not informed for three months. He is irked to the core. He wages a battle on his boss. That makes him to escape for safety. In big city of Bangalore Madheva is supported by a prostitute. He works honestly in a roadside canteen. Madheva is impressed with Lakshmi a maid servant in an apartment house. That is because of the care she gives for a challenged boy. In the locality where Madheva is living there is Kavya (Shwetha Pandit) and spoilt brat Sandy (Abisekh). The environment of Sandy is very bad and he has ulterior motives in mind. He tries all attempts to damage Kavya reputation. At the last minute she comes to know the crime of Sandy. Irked Sandy makes an acid attack on Kavya that falls on Lakshmi (Sindhu Lokanath) liked by Madheva. It is horrible life for innocent Lakshmi after an attack. The money power of Sandy frame Madheve in the case. It is not escape of culprit in the turn of incidents. For the mistake inspector Revanna (Rangayana Raghu) pays costly penalty. Niranjan in a full length role this time has worked hard and remained almost an urchin. It is Sindhu Lokanath who steals the show. Shwetha Pandit has understood the role and enacted well. Abisekh in his debut is quite OK. Rangayana Raghu wins from dialogues. Arjun Janya lent three good tunes. Nondkond Nodkondu...and Ninthalle..are super in tuning - Sabha Kumar camera work is on top. The reality he has given in his camera deserves appreciation for him. Worth a dekko! Score - 7/10
