A case has been filed by the Madhapur police against ace producer Dil Raju on the basis of a complaint by a novelist.

One Shyamala Rani, a novelist, has alleged in the complaint that the 2011 film 'Mr. Perfect', directed by Dasaradh, is based on her novel 'Naa Manasu Ninnu Kore'. The story bears resemblance to her novel, her complaint notes. The police have filed the case under the Copyright Act.

Starring Prabhas, Kajal Aggarwal and Taapsee Pannu, 'Mr. Perfect' was a box office hit. Written by KS Ravindra (Bobby), Solomon and Abburi Ravi, the family entertainer told the coming-of-age story of Vicky, who realizes the value of relationships through the course of the movie.
