What is now known as CCL was originally actor Abbas's brain child, but after the initial years he quit allegedly due to politics in the management and later the Chennai Rhinos were captained by Sarthkumar, Vishal and Jiiva who have all distanced themselves from it and now Arya is leading the team to some dismal performances in the current year.
Meanwhile, actor director Babu Ganesh has gone to court accusing of irregularities by the tournament authorities who seem to handicap the Kollywood team with some ridiculous rules like a player can become captain only if he has acted in a certain number of movies and also the same for a player to be picked even if his cricketing talent is extremely good. Babu Ganesh, also added that the organizers of pro-Telugu Warriors as the rules have not been implemented in Tollywood. It remains to be seen what action will be taken in a few days time.
