A few weeks back famous Karnataka journalist and social activist Gauri Lankesh was murdered by unknown assailants and the case has caused shock waves around the country. Multilingual actor Prakash Raj a close friend of Gauri had said that people who are celebrating the death of the victim on social media are being followed by the Prime Minister and that his silence regarding the issue is condemnable.

Prakash Raj had further stated that the PM and others are acting as if nothing had happened and their skills are worthy of the National Awards that he as a professional actor had received.  A lawyer has filed a case against Prakash Raj for his remarks about the Prime Minister and the Lucknow court has scheduled the hearing on the 7th of October.
