Director Gautham Vasudev Menon recently had his long delayed movie Enai Nokki paayum Thotta released after a delay of almost three years. and the movie which stars Dhanush, Megha Akash and Sasikumar has been receiving mixed reviews and is running in several screens.

After Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, Gautham Menon has directed a web series named Queen, which is his debut on digital platform and this series starring Ramya Krishnan is loosely based on the life of former Chief minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalitha, and has Ramya playing a fictional character Shakthi Seshadri.

Now a case has been filed against the release of Queen web series by Jayalalitha's niece J Deepa citing that the series has presented the story of Jayalalitha without seeking permission, and the Chennai high court has issued an order to Gautham Menon to respond to the petition. Also starring Anjana Jayaprakash and Anikha Surendran, Queen releases on December 14.
