Case against Dil Raju filed

Ace producer Dil Raju is in the dock in a case related to the evasion of Goods & Services Tax. He has allegedly evaded tax to the tune of Rs 8.50 crore.
The tax was levied under the GST law. Raju is liable to pay it for assigning the rights of his films released in 2017 for an exhibition, says a report confirming Anand, the Additional Commissioner (Central GST), as saying.
An official statement from Raju's office is awaited. The high due amount is in view of the hits he delivered in the last 9 months or so as a producer. A couple of them are blockbusters.
