'Care of Kancharapalem', produced by Suresh Productions, features newcomers. Set in the village of Kancharapelm, it has been directed by Maha Venkatesh. Ahead of its theatrical release on September 7, special screenings have been held. And the promising film is getting a universal thumbs-up. Not just film industry people like Nani, film critics and aspiring filmmakers too are in awe of the village drama.
Nani says, "#CareOfKancharapalem is MAGIC. Made me laugh, made me cry and it touched my heart. This one is my favourite film in a long long time. Pure gold! Plz plz plz don’t miss it!"
Film critic Baradwaj Rangan reveals that the film has a twist. "Charming. Funny. Hugely affecting, with a terrific twist that reshapes not just what you saw but the very *idea* of love," he notes.
@nebulochaoticaf writes, "#CareofKancharapalem is everything you would want a film to be. It’s real, funny, clever, relevant, touching, and feministic even. If you love cinema as a form of storytelling as much as I do, you would tear up at its mere existence. To be able to pluck stories and talent out of an unfamiliar place isn’t a small achievement and director Maha Venkatesh clearly knows what he is doing. So, don’t introduce him to your world of high-saturation."
@simplypuneeth opines, "C/o Kancharapalem is one of the most charming and humane films I have seen. Deeply emotional, meaningful and lovable. Stories in us, stories around us we have seen, stories around us we haven't seen. A proud Telugu cinema's representation in the arena of world cinema."
#CareOfKancharapalem is MAGIC.
