After a series of attacks on singers during concerts, rapper Cardi B found herself facing a similar incident during a performance. In videos captured from the concert, a person in the audience threw a drink at Cardi, splashing her in the face. Fuming with anger, Cardi swiftly retaliated by hurling her microphone at the culprit, hitting them directly.
The incident occurred while Cardi was performing her hit song "Bodak Yellow," elegantly donned in a flowy orange dress, walking on stage. Although she momentarily stopped when the water hit her, the music track continued playing. Realizing the offender, Cardi promptly launched her microphone at them. Security quickly apprehended the individual, dragging them away from the audience.
Unfortunately, Cardi B and other singers are not alone in experiencing such occurrences. Recently, singer Harry Styles was struck with a bouquet of roses during a concert in Vienna. Bebe Rexha was hit in the face with a phone thrown by an audience member, resulting in stitches. Kelsea Ballerini also faced a similar incident during a show in Boise, Idaho. Even Pink was shocked when a fan threw a bag containing their deceased mother's ashes onto her stage.
Adele even addressed the escalating safety concerns at concerts during her performance at The Colosseum in Las Vegas. She expressed frustration over people forgetting show etiquette and throwing objects on stage, warning that she wouldn't tolerate such behavior.
Such incidents are deeply concerning and threaten the safety and enjoyment of both performers and audiences. Concertgoers must remember to respect the artists and show their appreciation in a positive and respectful manner, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
