The coming days will decide the fate of actor and president of newly floated political party DMDK.

With just a week away for the State to go to polls, the actor-turned-politician is busy campaigning by making whirlwind tour all over the State.

The heat and the dust has already taken toll on the actor's throat.

After addressing a spate of meeting in the last two months, the actor suffered sore throat and had to cancel a few public meetings in the midway.

Just the lone star campaigner in his party (unlike his opponents), Vijayakanth plans to intensify his campaign in the coming days.

Pitted against a strong candidate in Vridhachalam where he is contesting, Vijayakanth has decided to spend a couple of days there to seek votes for himself.

Reiterating that he has succeeded in creating a impact with his campaign, Vijayakanth is hopeful of securing some seats in his maiden attempt at the elections.
