Tamil cinema's legendary actor Captain Vijayakanth's son Shanmuga Pandian entered the film industry as an actor with 'Sagaptham' in 2015 and he later acted in 'Madura Veeran' in 2018. Now, he is all set to make his comeback after five years with yet another action drama.

The untitled film went on the floors in July in the presence of Shanmuga Pandian's mother Premalatha Vijayakanth. U Anbu is directing the movie while 'Natpe Thunai' director Parthiban Desingu is penning the screenplay and dialogues. Based on true events, it is a high-octane action entertainer set against the backdrop of the forest and elephants. The film was shot in the interior forests of Orissa, Thailand and Kerala.

Now, the hot news is that the title and first look of this upcoming movie will be unveiled on Vijayakanth's social media handle tomorrow (Aug 25), marking Captain's 71st birthday. Presented by VJ Combines and Sumeet Arts, the project is bankrolled by An Director’s Cinemaas. Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja has composed the musical score for the Shanmuga Pandian starrer.
