Legendary actor Captain Vijayakanth is celebrating his 71st birthday today. He unveiled the title glimpse video of his younger son Shanmuga Pandian's next movie via social media. The upcoming film is titled 'Padai Thalaivan' and it has music composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja.

The minute-long video opens with a birthday wish for Captain Vijayakanth. Shanmuga Pandian plays a mahout in this film which revolves around elephants and forests. The action drama based on true events is directed by U. Anbu while 'Natpe Thunai' fame Parthiban Desingu is penning the screenplay and dialogues. The glimpse video is now going viral on the internet.

Presented by VJ Combines and Sumeet Arts, the project is bankrolled by An Director's Cinemaas. Padai Thalaivan stars Shanmuga Pandian, Kasthuri Raja, Munishkanth, Yamini Chander, A. Venkatesh, Logu, NPKS and others. The technical team comprises SR Satish Kumar as the cinematographer, Elayaraja S as the editor and P Raju as the art director with Mahesh Mathew as the stunt master.
