Former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni announced his retirement from all forms of international cricket on Saturday, much to the disappointment of his diehard fans who were expecting him to play atleast another 2 years.

Fans of the legendary cricketer, who is one of the most successful captains of India have been expressing their love for Dhoni on social media, and celebrities too have been expressing how the decision of Dhoni has impacted them and their fond memories with the cricketer.

Actor and politician captain Vijayakanth has tweeted an important request to Dhoni. Vijayakanth has tweeted that Dhoni must guide and encourage youngsters by launching a training academy. He added that people of Tamil Nadu will forever remember Dhoni's helicopter shot and the way he captained CSK team, and praised him "Captain Dhoni - A cool and great captain".
