Though the gentleman is busy with his political commitments, he is not a person who dump cinema. What we hear now is that, Vijayakanth is gearing-up to start the work for his next movie by this January. And this won’t be like his usual films. Yup! The politician-turned-actor is directing this one which is titled as ‘Virudhagiri’ under his home banner Captain Cine Creations.

Sources say that the story and screenplay of the movie is ready and the first schedule of the movie will be starting off with the canning of 2 song sequences in abroad. Our Captain will chase an international criminal who has entered India, with the help of the FBI officials in this one. So the team of ‘Virudhagiri’ will be going to Hong Kong, Malaysia and New York to shoot the film.
