Latest official statement on Captain Vijayakanth’s health!

Actor and politician Vijaykanth and his wife Premalatha were recently discharged from hospital after testing positive for Coronavirus and responding well to the treatment. However yesterday there were reports making the rounds that Vijayakanth has been admitted in hospital again due to health issues. 

Now it has been officially clarified that Vijayakanth had visited the hospital for the second phase examination and will returned in a couple of days. The DMDK official statement reads “DMDK leader Captain Vijayakant has been admitted in a private hospital for the second phase of examination. He’s hale and healthy. Don’t believe any rumours being circulated regarding his health.”

Vijayakanth’s son Vijay Prabhakaran also has spoken via a live video on his social networking page where he urged people not to spread rumors. He said it was a normal checkup and requested people to give them privacy. Vijay Prabhakaran further said that Captain is well and that it’s  a normal general health checkup and he’ll be back tomorrow.
