Captain Vijayakanth conducts masked wedding amidst coronavirus Janata Curfew

The Prime Minister of India requested the citizens to go on a self imposed curfew (Janata Curfew) today Sunday the 22nd of March from 7 am to 9 pm in a bid to break the spread of the deadly coronavirus that has claimed more than thirteen thousand lives worldwide with Italy the worst affected reported 750 deaths in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile Captain Vijayakanth officiated a wedding at his residence with around ten people present all wearing masks as precautions.

The wedding of the son of a DMDK functionary was planned many months ago and the bride and groom are said to have been very particular that Vijayakanth officiated it. The Captain in spite of his health concerns obliged his party loyalists by conducting the marriage in his house in Saligramam this morning.
