'Captain TV' to catch attention

Get ready 'Captain' fans. For the matinee idol is getting ready to launch a television channel on his own.

Titled 'Captain TV', the new channel will go on air from Pongal 2010, say sources in the know. It will take to the people the policies and stands of Vijayakanth's DMDK, it is said.

The actor is currently in talks with professionals and market experts to make his channel top TRP ratings. L K Sudeesh, Vijayakanth's brother-in-law and DMDK's youth wing chief is the in-charge of affairs of 'Captain TV', it is learnt.

Importance will given to entertainment and politics. There will be no usual programmes. All programmes will come with a difference, sources add.
