Can Saif Ali Khan's PHANTOM bring to book 26/11 mastermind Hafiz Saeed?

Cinema is a means that bridges nations and plays a greater role in creating harmony and brotherhood than our political leaders.

The recent example of Salman Khan starrer BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN proves the point to a perfect T' because the movie's humanitarian tale of an staunch Hindu rescuing a Pakistani mute girl in India and helping her reach her homeland in Pakistan not only set the box office ringing but it opened new doors for a Pakistani NGO to unite a hearing and speech impaired Indian Hindu woman who has been stranded in Pakistan for the past 15 years.

Soon after BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN opening to roaring success in Pakistani, Ansar Burney, a Pakistan based human rights activist hastened his efforts about the Indian woman Geeta by tweeting on social media. His pleas were heard by External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and she has taken initiative to unite the girl to her parents in India.

One wonders just as efforts to help Geeta to unite with her parents in India have began after the impact of BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN, can Saif Ali Khan's upcoming movie open doors and initiate ways to capture Jama'at-ud-Da'wah chief Hafiz Saeed, the mastermind of the heinous 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

Though the movie has been banned in Pakistan by chief Hafiz Saeed fearing the movie to stain his image and expose his misdeed. Interestingly Shahnawaz Pradhan, who plays the baddie Hariz Saeed in PHANTOM, is confident that the ban in Pakistan will not help in reaching the movie's message across Pakistan.

In an interview he said, "PHANTOM may be banned in Pakistan but I can confidently say that after the first show, pirated copies will make their way into the homes of Pakistani's avid Bollywood fans and expose the wicked Hafiz's evils."

According to filmmaker Kabir Khan the movie is adapted from famous journalist and author Hussain Zaidi's book Mumbai Avengers and is based on facts so the question of labeling the movie anti Pakistan is senseless.

Sources close to the movie reveal, "The reason why Hafiz Saeed is threatened by the movie is simply because the movie propagates to eliminate Hafiz Saeed by entering into his cage and conducting an Abbottabad-style operation inside Pakistan as America did not eliminate global terrorist kingpin Osama bin Mohammed."

Film critics who have viewed the film are going gaga over the film and have given a Thumps Up to Kabir Khan for making another classic film after BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN.

Starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif, PHANTOM will open in theatres this Friday on the 28th of August.
