His pedigree is impeccable.

Yet, Richard's take-off in Kollywood has not been on expected lines.

His debut Kadhal Virus was long-delayed and short-stayed. The film was a dud to beat all duds.

After the film's release, Richards also quickly went into the cans, so to say. Though he was seen here, then there, he was not seen on the screens.

But now his problems seem over.

This actor, brother of actress Shalini Ajith, has handful of offers on his hands now.

Asked about a big gap after Kadhal Virus, Richard says the typical thing. "I was waiting for a good script. Now I have some interesting projects. I am currently working in films like Kichavudaya Kadhal, Girivalam and Thiru 420."

Besides, Richard is also playing the lead in a Malayalam movie titled Thatu.

"Interestingly, Thiru 420 would be my first venture as an action-hero".

Now, Richard has to walk his talk.
