Can 'Avatar 2' collect 40% of Avatar's figure on Day 1?

When 'Avatar' was released in 2009, it created a sensation in India by entering the one-billion mark in its lifetime run. More than the collections, it became a phenomenal talking point. The James Cameron directorial came at a time when nobody knew about the phenomenon of pan-India cinema and Baahubalian collections.
'Avatar 2' is coming out in theatres this Friday. It's estimated that the Hollywood movie is going to be released on 4,000 screens in India in various languages.
If the first part made Rs 100 Cr in India, there are credible chances of 'Avatar 2' collecting about 40% of that figure on Day 1 itself in Nett. terms. If the 'word of mouth' is encouraging, the film could easily cross Rs 300 Cr in its lifetime run in India.
As of now, the advance bookings are highly encouraging in the Telugu States in particular and South India in general. The high ticket rates in some markets are to be blamed for the less-than-expected craze in some territories.
