Caller dupes actress in name of Prabhas' film, director complains

Kriti Garg, the heroine of last Friday's release 'Raahu', is in the news because she has allegedly been duped by an unknown caller calling himself a filmmaker in the name of Prabhas' unofficial project.
To get into the details, Kriti had received a call from a person asking her to travel to Mumbai to audition for a role in a movie of 'Arjun Reddy' director Sandeep Reddy Vanga and 'Saaho' actor Prabhas. The unsuspecting actress went to Mumbai, only to realize that the call was a hoax.
As per her 'Raahu' director Subbu Vedula, she has been unreachable since Monday morning. The filmmaker has lodged a police complaint in Hyderabad. A case of impersonation (because the caller allegedly referred to himself as Sandeep Reddy) has been filed.
