Calicut hosts three movies

Suddenly the Calicut city has become the space of interest for film journos as three new movies has kicked off the shoot at the metro. The most important one among the three is 'Indian rupee' directed by Renjith. This Prithviraj movie with Reema Kallingal as the heroine is also scripted by the director, after his immensely successful and critically acclaimed 'Pranchiyettan and the Saint'.

The other movies in town includes Rajasenan's 'Innanu aa Kalyanam' and Anoop Menon's 'Josettanate hero', directed by K K Haridas. The Rajasenan film also features Rajith Menon, Roshan, Malavika and Sharanya Mohan in important roles.
