A resident of Hyderabad, named Sindhura Goud, on Sunday lost his father due to the utter apathy of an Ola cabbie. A medical emergency turned out to be a tragedy because the cabbie refused to ferry an ailing middle-aged man citing hygiene. As per Goud, here is what happened.

"With a heavy heart, I wanted to bring to your notice about the tragic experience that I had with your Irresponsible driver. On Saturday night, I booked an Ola cab (CRN 2917243939) to take my father to the hospital as he was suffering from excessive bleeding from AV Fistula.

Your driver arrived on time but refused to pick up saying that his cab would get dirty with blood. He started arguing and insisted that he won't allow my father to get in.

We pleaded with him and tried to convince him, as it was an emergency but it was of no use. We also told him that we will pay extra money as well (which he could have used for his car wash). But he simply lacked common sense and humanity.

We finally had to book an Uber and the Uber driver arrived soon and was very helpful. He was very courteous. But unfortunately, by the time we reached the hospital, my dad passed away due to excess bleeding. Doctor said that we could have saved his life had we reached a little earlier.

You people lack humanity. We lost our father because of your driver's negligence. The senseless act of your driver has lead to 3 children fatherless."
