You just have to look like someone else to not be taken seriously. Looks like Shakalaka Shankar doesn't know this dictum.

In the latest Teaser of his up-and-coming 'Shambo Shankara', in which the comedian has played the hero, Shankar behaves like Pawan Kalyan's alter-ego. Wearing Power Star's body language as seen in films like 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Katamarayudu', the comedian-turned-hero comes across as an actor who is proud of NOT having his own identity.

By mimicking his favourite onscreen idol, Shankar may have committed a blunder. It's now easy for the audience to believe that being someone else is his only talent.

While the director (Sreedhar N), too, seems to have submitted to the temptation of resorting to the gimmick of pandering to a fanbase, the Teaser could have done better.

Also starring Karunya, Naginedu, Ajay Goss, Ravi Prakash, Edida Sriram and Others, the film has music by Sai Kartheek.
