Before the release of 'Vikram', it was widely reported that Kamal Haasan would be teaming up with Malayalam filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan for a project based on the plot of 'Kshatriya Putrudu' ('Devar Magan').
It's now emerging that the 'Vishwaroopam' actor has decided to shelve the project. The reason for the cancellation of the project is not known.
The versatile actor is currently doing Shankar's 'Indian 2'. It is one of the biggest sequels of all time.
Then there is another project, whose working title is 'KH234'. Directed by Mani Ratnam and produced by Red Giant Movies along with Madras Talkies and RKFI, the film will probably go on the floors in the second half of 2023.
Kollywood filmmaker H Vinoth will be helming 'KH233' in all probability. The buzz in the Kollywood film circles is that Kamal is more interested to work with Pa. Ranjith and Vetrimaaran. The latter two are likely to make politically-coloured films with him.
