On Monday, SS Rajamouli and producer DVV Danayya met with the CM. As per a recent Government Order issued by the AP government, benefit shows were implicitly ruled out. 'Radhe Shyam' didn't stand any chance. Can 'RRR' be lucky?
The answer is no. Perni Nani has categorically stated that RRR won't be granted benefit shows.
It has to be seen whether extra shows will be smoothly afforded. It will also likely be given the freedom to sell its tickets at a higher price taking into consideration its humongous budget. Today's meeting between Jagan and Rajamouli may well be fruitful to a limited extent.
The makers of 'RRR' have most likely succeeded in impressing upon the CM that the financial stakes are really high and therefore, the current cinema ticket prices will not be viable. Ticket rate hike will be a shot in the arm for 'RRR'.
