SIIMA Awards-2017 has thrown up quite a lot of buzz around certain big celebs.

NTR is in news for bagging the Best Actor award for 'Janatha Garage', something which he has been busy doing since January. Panel after panel is convinced that 'JG' out-smarted every other star/actor in 2016.

Lavanya Tripathi, on the other hand, dressed fashionably for the occasion. Seeing her in the outfit, one starts wondering if she is at times better off-screen than on-screen. She did try to go glam in 'Doosukeltha', but it came a cropper.

Then there is buzz around what Ali did in the presence of Brahmani, Balakrishna's daughter and AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's daughter-in-law. Ali reportedly mimicked both Naidu and Balayya when someone asked him to ask her a question during the ceremony. The entrepreneur laughed away like a true sport.

Of course, Akhil's singing debut, Nivetha Thomas winning an award for 'Gentleman', Murali Mohan getting Lifetime Achievement Award, and Pooja Hegde making her presence felt in style are all there!
