The 'Gabbar Singh' combo project has hit a rough patch this year. Due to the pandemic, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' and the remake of 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum' have been on a holiday. The pandemic-induced delay has had a direct bearing on Power Star's outing with the 'DJ' director.

Much as the fans of the actor and the 'Gaddalakonda Ganesh' maker can't wait for the big-ticket, message-oriented project to go on the floors, it might not happen this year at all.

The Jana Sena chief has to first complete the Krishna Jagarlamudi film and the Sagar K Chandra-Rana Daggubati movie this year. The latter might release earlier than the former.

Harish Shankar will keep himself engaged with the pre-production works. He has already enlisted Devi Sri Prasad for a dekko. Power Star is rumouredly going to play an assistant professor in the untitled movie.
