But for Chiranjeevi, I would have reacted severely: Naga Babu

Naga Babu has today explained why he has been taking potshots at some of the objectionable comments that Balakrishna has made in recent past pertaining to the Mega family.
"Won't you feel bad if we were to comment badly on you or your people? We keep silent despite knowing some things about your people. We don't make inappropriate comments. Sections of media held debates when I recently said that I don't know who Balakrishna is. I had never referred to Balakrishna's name even once. But the media kept on talking about my comments. When I praised the way a boy sang 'Saare Jahaan Se Accha', it was seen as an indirect dig at Balakrishna," he said.
Naga Babu continued, "I posted about a breed of buffaloes. It's because I hold farming close to my heart. We in our family come from a farming background. Maybe you don't know what farming is since your family members may have been born as kings (sarcasm)."
"I never said anything directly about your biopic, 'NTR'. Yet, some of them targeted me saying I have taken a dig at the film. There are many biopics being made, including 'Yatra' and 'Lakshmi's NTR'. When none of them reacted to my comments, why did only your fans react to my parody 'padhyam'?" he added.
"In 2011, Balakrishna said something objectionable. But for my elder brother (Chiranjeevi), I would have reacted very severely. I will comment on it very soon. I will close the issue after that," Naga Babu signed off.
