When Businessman crossed 50 days on March 2, the proud statements made by everyone from Mahesh down missed the mention of figures that the film has raked all these days. Yes, the film may have collected more than Dookudu, but there was no mandatory talk about Superstar Krishna's prediction having gone correct (or wrong for the rest of us).

It was on the 49th day that Prince proudly tweeted saying Dookudu was the biggest hit in the history of Tollywood. In comparison the last time we heard an official figure about Businessman's collections was the 7th day.

All that respected Puri sir told us on the completion of half-century was that Businessman's humongous success could be attributed to the biggest theatrical release. Doesn't that tantamount to saying that the film exhausted its BO potential just 10 or 20 days into its release?

Just because the producer has not put out the figures doesn't mean that there is no genuineness in the claim that Businessman is Tollywood's biggest hit, but it does seem that the film hasn't had repeat audiences as much as Dookudu had.
