A businessman in Hyderabad was robbed of valuables worth Rs 2 crore from his residence in Sainikpuri. The incident happened on Sunday night while he and his family were away organising a marriage reception at Taj Falaknuma Palace. The suspects of the theft are watchman and his wife. The businessman expects that the watchman would have played a part in it.

The business man and family went to organise the reception in the evening and when they were back in the midnight, they found that their valuables were missing. The accused broke into the cupboard and stole 1.7 kilos of gold ornaments, Rs 2 lakh in cash, watches and other electronics. The worth of the stolen property is expected to be around Rs 2 crores.

The family said their domestic helps Bheem and wife Gatha were missing and phones are switched off. The two had been working for this for six months now.

Police are looking into the investigation and are hoping to catch the accused soon.
