The other day, a TSRTC bus reportedly happened to play a pirated copy of 'Krishnarjuna Yuddham' to its patrons. A user brought the same to KTR's notice. "Garuda Volvo bus trip to Bengaluru from Hyd. How can you ask a common man avoid privacy when an institution fails? Movie released yesterday," he said.
In reply, this is what KTR said. "That’s extremely irresponsible on the part of the TSRTC HQ staff of this bus. Request JMD of TSRTC HQ to make sure to act and prevent recurrence," the Minister noted.
Tollywood has been at the receiving end of piracy. The government's active involvement to curb it can result in direct benefits for the producers and other stakeholders.
