It is quite tough to compose songs for a story which deals with a heist / con. The composer can think on the lines of delivering tracks to suit the mood of the screenplay, and it would not hit the right notes with the listeners before the movie's release. This is the reason why we end up loving some tracks after watching it visually, because we understand the situations better than imagining a story of our own. But, debutante Sudharshan M Kumar has succeeded in conveying the darker theme with his music, and here we present you the review. 1. Vaddi Listen here Singer(s): Aryan Rajesh If one gets to listen to this song after watching the trailer of this movie, they could easily relate to this funky hip hop material. Aryan Rajesh gets into the tune like fish to water, and delivers the lyrics in a unique style. A song that might get better when we watch it with visuals. 2. En Moochum Listen here Singer(s): Ranjith A functional, fast paced melody gets the much needed fire power from Ranjith's vocals. The song starts off quite interestingly with guitars and fails to gain momentum in the midway. A song which could go either way given the preference of the listener. 3. Run for money dude Listen here Singer(s): Sudharshan M Kumar, Velmurugan The album turns out to dish out an engrossing foot tapping track. The composer has joined hands with Velmurugan and both renders confidentially. This song could well be the cat & mouse background material in the proceedings and Sudharshan gets the first winner of the album. 4. Jungle in the city Listen here Singer(s): Ranina Reddy Wow! All of a sudden, Sudharshan surprises with a rock song and Ranina Reddy raises the tempo quite effectively. But, unfortunately the track is less than 2 mins, wish it could have been little more longer. 5. Kalavu pona nilavu Listen here Singer(s): Karthik Karthik is back after hibernating for a while, and demands the complete attention right from the word go. For the first time, the composer dish out a soulful string section, and it works really well in the first interlude. Karthik maintains a neat pace throughout the song while the composer plays a second fiddle with his sounds to let the singer take over the lead role. 6. Counting the cars Listen here Singer(s): Suresh Peters, Remya Nambeesan, Sudharshan M Kumar, Jeba Niyaz, Anisha Lakshmanan The composer throws another song which will work better with visuals as the track explains the heist. All the singers have a verse or two to render, but the tune surrounds the functional lyrics seems to be laboured. The track is an overdose of electronic rhythms, and it offers very little excitement. 7. Kings of Garage & Seizing Mania - Instrumental Listen here The album ends on a high note, courtesy both the instrumentals which conveys the fishy content in a catchy way.
