For the first time a Kannada film shooting was held inside the tallest tower of the world Burj Khalifa. Harish Sherigar a Dubai based businessman made arrangements with special permission for his favorite actor Ananthnag starrer ‘Hottegagi Genu Battegaagi’. Radhika Chetan and Ananthnag portions were shot inside the glorious structure.
Shooting at a magnificent tower like Burj Khalifa was also concept of the film in direction of Narendra Babu. The team searched for locations in Mumbai, Bali and other locations. As the skyscrapers are background for this film at point of time Harish Sherigar was contacted for this facility that eventually made Harish Sherigar and his charming wife Sharmila to take up a portion of production expenses. Harish Sherigar is part of three films of versatile actor Ananthnag so far.
Shooting in Burj Khalifa interiors no film in India attempted. Harish Sherigar used his excellent influence to get permission to shoot at this place.
Burj Khalifa in Dubai is mega tall with 829.8 meters that is 2722 feet height – world’s tallest since 2008. It was constructed in a period of four years with investment of over 1.5 billion US dollars.
