The audio release function of 'Naa Peru Surya' was held on Sunday evening at Military Madhavaram in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh.
Speaking at the function, Allu Arjun said, "When we wanted to choose an appropriate backdrop for holding the audio launch, we cogitated over what to do. We didn't know what to do in the beginning. It's then that we came to know that there is a village named Madhavaram in West Godavari district and that it's known as Military Madhavaram for a reason. As soon as we came to know about this, we decided to hold the event only here. We learned that hundreds from this village fought in the two World Wars. That's why we are proud to be holding this function here today."
The Stylish Star then said, "I thank my producers Lagadapati Sridhar garu and Sirisha garu for taking care of me throughout the film's making. I had for long wanted to do a film for Naga Babu garu. I don't know how he is feeling, but I am very fortunate to have worked with someone I like a lot. Bunny Vas has put up with my torture. I thank Vishal-Shekar duo (music) and all the others who have worked on this movie."
Talking about his character in 'NPS', Bunny said, "Surya's single aim in the film is to serve in the Army. What I loved the most about this character is that he is committed to his society. During the shoot, the Indian Army cooperated fully with us. We thank them for that."
He then affirmed the unity among Mega heroes. "We are always one. I speak out when I feel like. I want to say one thing," Bunny started out to say. He went on to talk about Pawan Kalyan working for the people "at a time when he is the Numero Uno star who can make crores by doing films" and that "so many criticisms are being leveled against such a person."
"When Chiranjeevi garu (had entered politics), we heard similar things. We (the Mega family) have become stronger over the years. Just because they own channels, they are talking as they like against Pawan Kalyan garu," Bunny said.
The actor mentioned about the ongoing controversy following the abuse of Pawan Kalyan, calling out the media for telecasting it.
