The audio release function of 'Geetha Govindam' was held on Sunday evening at Hyderabad's JRC Convention. Allu Arjun was the chief guest.
Bunny started his speech by greeting Vijay Deverakonda's fans. "My father has produced several films. But I haven't graced the events of all those movies. I am here today, frankly, because Bunny Vas is associated with 'GG'. Vijay, don't take it to heart," the 'Naa Peru Surya' actor joked.
"When I was narrated the story of 'GG' a couple of years ago, I felt it's good. I got to watch the film 4-5 days back. I watched it as an audience. And I loved it. The lead pair has done a rocking job," Bunny said.
The Stylish Star said that Gopi Sundar's music is his favourite. "From films like 'Oopiri' to 'Bhale Bhale Mogadivoy', he has given blockbuster songs. I wish all the other technicians of this film all the best," the Mega hero said.
"Director Parusuram was one of the assistants of my film 'Parugu'. 'GG' is going to be his best film," he noted.
"I was in Bengaluru when I was told about Rashmika Mandanna's performance in the Kannada film 'Kirrik Party'. I had advised a couple of heroines to never miss doing 'GG' if the script came their way. But it turned out that the film was destined to go to Rashmika. She has rocked the show," Bunny observed.
About Deverakonda said, "I was disturbed for a week after watching 'Arjun Reddy'. I would refuse to work! The film had so much of impact on me. And Deverakonda's performance was the year's best one. I sincerely wished that he gets the Filmfare award for the year. And he has got it. He is a great performer."
"GG is actually a heroine-dominated script. But Deverakonda has done it so well that he has made it an equalitarian film," Bunny said.
Singing off, he joked that his father earns so much from the movie and buys a car for him. What about his next film? "It would have been good had I known it," Bunny said.
