'Bullet' and 'Parthan' confirmed for Onam

Tomorrow will be a big day for the Mollywood industry , that will be marked in the history for a long time. Other than being the Thiru Onam day , tomorrow will also mark the simultaneous release of five films on a single day - an incident that has never been recorded earlier in Mollywood Film History.

Owing to poor planning and pending payouts, many of these five films and a few others like 'Gulmohur', and 'Paribhavam', has to throw away the confirmed good collections of a previous week before Onam. Only M G Sasi's 'Adayallangal', that too an award winner with little known faces, managed to be on limited centres last week. Films like 'Rock On' and 'Subramaniapuram' got the maximum advantage of this and grabbed good collections from theatres this week, as no other new Malayalam films was on sight.

According to the latest reports, Suresh Gopi's 'Bullet' and Jayaram's long pending 'Parthan Kanda Paralokam' will also make into theatres for Onam tomorrow. 'Bullet' an investigative, action thriller will make itself available in 45 centres across the state. The movie will feature Suresh Gopi in a different getup, as a Sanyasi. The movie will also have Kalabhavan mani, Vijayaraghavan, Jagathy Srekumar, Innocent, Bala and Anoop Chandran in important roles.

Jayaram's 'Veruthe Oru Bharya' is still continuing rock steady in thirty release centres, even in its fifth week. The movie is expected to continue in all these centres for this Onam, which will make it a big hit, collection wise. The actor will be hoping to continue with his winning streak, with his next movie as well.

His 'Parthan Kanda Paralokam', as per the preview reports is an out and out comedy entertainer which is filled with laugh a minute comic dialogues. Director Anil (of the Anil-Babu duo) teams up with Jayaram once again after 'Anchil Oraal Arjunan' for this movie, another light-hearted flick which also feature Mukesh and Jagathy in roles of equal importance. The movie have Sreedevika in the female lead. 'Parthan Kanda Parlokam' will also make into 40 centres in Kerala.

'Thavalam' again with Suresh Gopi in the lead has got more than 30 theaters waiting for the prints.The movie which don't have any controversial contents, is expected to be okay ed with a clean U certificate ,today. The directorial crew is rushing in studios to make as many prints as possible to deliver for tomorrow.

The biggest release of the season will be 'Thirkkatha' , which is confirmed in around sixty centres. The movie planned as a musical love story will feature six songs from Sharath who is all set for a comeback to film music scenario after six years. Produced by Varnachitra Subair and Renjith, the movie has a big cast including Priyamani, Nishanth Sagar, Anoop Menon and Co. director Renjith himself appear in a short cameo for this film.

'Thalappavu' by actor Madhupal is another real incident based drama which will make into 36 centres tomorrow. The film zooms in on the story of a naxalite youth named Joseph and also that of a police constable named Raveendran Pillai and the intense bonding between them. To be released widely by Lal release tomorrow, the movie will have producer Lal playing a role of his life time as the policeman while Prithviraj plays the young Naxalite.

The non Malayalam release that will grace the theatres for this Onam is 'Jeyam Kondaan' which was released in Tamil Nadu last week. The movie which has garnished good initial reports from Kollywood feature Bhavana and Vinay in the lead roles.
