Rana Daggubati is of the opinion that building a franchise out of a movie can ensure financial returns. Obviously, he has the "Baahubali universe being expanded with comics and video games" in mind when he says this.
"Today's value is in the franchise. Not just in the film called 'Baahubali' called but the entire idea of the world of Mahishmati," the 'NTR: Mahanayakudu' actor observes. "People live these characters in their minds, and want their experiences to transcend beyond just a few hours in theatres. As creators and storytellers we should recognise the value of what we already are," he ponders.
The Bhallaladeva of Rajamouli recently signed up to do 'Houseful-4' in Hindi. He has also lent his voice for 'Subrahmanyapuram', which releases on December 7.
