Title - BUGURI, Banner - SMG Movies, Producers - Smt Manjula Gopalakrishna, Smt Vijayalakshmi Sridhar, Direction - MD Sridhar, Music = Mickey J Meyar, Cinematography - Krishnakumar, Cast - Ganesh, Erica Fernandez, Richa Panai, Ashok, Sadhu Kokila, Sudha Belawadi, Saritha Jain and others.
This is what we have seen in quite a few films. The recent hit film `Googly' discussed on what is important in life? Love or Life! The protagonist after a few years returns to look for his ex lover. That is only after achievement. In the similar way the protagonist in `Buguri' returns after achievement in life. On return with affluence whether the `Buguri' hero gets his lady love? That has taken more than two hours for MD Sridhar to explain in the silver jubilee film of Golden star Ganesh. `Googly' is `Buguri' today. Earlier Kannada film with slight rehash in script with change in cast - Buguri is one such example.
It is love at first sight for Krishna. He finds a place in the heart of Nandini (Richa Panai). Krishna joins the college where Nandini is studying. He helps her in all ways. At what cost? At the cost of his father! Krishna realizes that achieving in life is important. He discovers a new application for mobile phone in his life to earn a good status. He has Ishanya (Erica Fernandez) in the present life. When he goes in search after a few years the entry to the life of Nandini is not that easy. Nandini is engaged to Karthik (Srinagara Kitty). In a sad mood he returns back. Ishanya the waiting lady love of Krishna admit him in the life.
It is another film in the career of Golden star Ganesh. He has done skating and learnt horse riding for this film. Ganesh emotions, funny dialogues are quite OK. `Mathe Mane devru' (Talking is my home God) is truth in the case of his hero. He is an actor with dialogues that reaches the hearts and brains. Erica and Richa are very good looking on screen. Richa Panai has more scope to acting. Sadhu Kokila is not only in comedy track and takes slap from Ganesh. He is also in good supporting role.
Mickey J Meyar has lent two memorable tunes. The locations for shooting are too many. They look very colorful too. Krishna Kumar cinematography is absorbing. The foreign locations are well captured. This is a moderate `Buguri'.
