'Brahmastra', one of the most ambitious Bollywood films in the making, stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. The buzz is that the epic has been made at a cost of more than Rs 300 Cr. Uday Shankar of Star and Disney India is reported to have made this statement recently at a summit.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the supernatural fantasy thriller will hit the screens in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam in 2021. The VFX-heavy movie is the first edition of a trilogy.

Besides the 'Sanju' actor, this one has Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Dimple Kapadia in key roles.

Alia Bhatt is said to be playing a phenomenal role in this movie. She is also paired up with Ram Charan in Rajamouli's 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram'.
