Popular Kollywood director Mysskin, whose most recent film 'Thupparivaalan' ('Detective', the Vishal-starrer, in Telugu) became a hit, is in the news due to a controversy.

Mythreya, a young actor, has released a video in which he has made the shocking allegation that Mysskin cheated him by promising to make him a hero after extracting a huge advance from his father. Mythreya has alleged that, during the trailer launch event of a Tamil movie, Mysskin introduced him to the press as the hero of his next film.

He has further stated that on July 10th, 2015 an agreement was made and his father the producer had given a huge amount to Mysskin as an advance. Mysskin then asked for some time to start the film.

Mythreya was "shocked" to know that the story for which he had been signed was announced with some other actor in the lead.

When he allegedly got in touch with the director, he told him he is not in a position to return the advance money and also cannot start a film with him. According to the aspiring actor, many directors had approached him but he had waited for 3 years to star in Mysskin's film and is devastated by the turn of events.

He signs off by saying that even though he can take legal action he would rather appeal to Mysskin's conscience to give him a favorable judgement.
