Bubbly Kiran back in the hunt

Kiran, who made a promising debut in Vikram starrer ‘Gemini’, went on dominating the scene with many films coming her way. She got plump offers to act opposite many leading heroes like Kamal Haasan, Vijayakanth, and Ajith. Her career, however, could not take off as expected, as most of her films met with disastrous results at box office.

The damsel had to wait for a second beginning. The break did come in the form of ‘Kadhal Varum Paruvam’ directed by Kasthoori Raja. Unfortunately the movie too did not do well at the box-office and Kiran suffered another setback.

Then came a chance to act in ‘Vasool’, directed by Rishiraj. Hemanthkumar, a newcomer, plays the lead role, while director Rishiraj plays the baddie.

“The movie is about Kiran being exploited for monetary gains. The hero steps in and saves her from all troubles”, says the director.

Snehan has penned the lyrics and Vijayashankar has scored the music.

The cute and glamorous actress is now pinning all her hopes on ‘Vasool’.
