The upcoming film "Bubblegum," featuring the talented actor Roshan Kanakala, created quite a buzz when its teaser was unveiled. The filmmakers were clear about their target audience, focusing on the youth, and promised an engaging on-screen chemistry between the lead pair. To heighten the anticipation, the makers have now released the first song titled "Habibi Jilebi." This high-energy track, energetically sung by Rahul Sipligunj, combines elements of mass appeal with a delightful touch of Arabic music. Sricharan Pakala's musical composition is impressive, and Kasarla Shyam's lyrics are both simple and enjoyable.
However, what truly stands out in this song are the visuals. Roshan exudes enthusiasm and delivers a decent dance performance, while the heroine Maanasa graces the screen with her captivating presence, adding a touch of glamour. This song possesses all the qualities to become a hit and undeniably contributes to the growing excitement surrounding the movie.
Roshan Kanakala, the lead actor in "Bubblegum," is the son of the renowned character actor Rajeev Kanakala and the well-known TV host and presenter, Suma Kanakala. Notably, the film's director, Ravikanth, has previously directed successful films like "Kshanam" and "Krishna and his Leela." While Ravikanth's first two films were distinctively written by their lead actors, the editor-turned-director has taken on a co-writing role for "Bubblegum," collaborating with Vishnu Kondur and Seri-Ganni.
The teaser of "Bubblegum" hints at a captivating love story between the aspiring DJ, who happens to be the son of a butcher, and a young woman from an affluent background. The teaser also offers glimpses of action sequences, suggesting that Roshan's character may find himself entangled in some challenging situations.
Directed and written by Ravikanth Perepu, with joint production efforts from People Media Factory and Maheshwari Movie, the film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Roshan Kanakala, Maanasa Choudhary, Harsha Chemudu, Kiran Macha, Anannyaa Akulaa, Harshvardhan, Anu Hasan, Chaitu Jonnalagadda, Bindu Chandramouli, and more. The cinematography is in the capable hands of Suresh Ragutu, while Vithal Kosanam takes on the role of art director. Audiences worldwide can look forward to the movie's release on December 29, 2023.
